Established in 1982, Halcyon Gallery has become a world-class destination for art collectors who are drawn not only to the inspirational art, but also to the commitment and passion of the organisation’s entire team.
As well as representing contemporary artists, the gallery deals in rare masterpieces ranging in period from Impressionism to Pop.
Halcyon Gallery guarantees an ethical and unique business policy by acquiring works from artists before selling them – a policy that inspires confidence in the artists and, just as importantly, the collectors who trust the gallery to help build their world-class collections.

Philanthropy has become an important facet to Halcyon Gallery as part of its commitment to the life-enhancing quality of art. It actively supports several charities including The Royal Parks Foundation and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award World Fellowship. The gallery also sponsors an annual polo match at Longdole Polo Club with Princes William and Harry, the proceeds of which benefit a charity of their choosing.
Every artist represented by Halcyon Gallery is chosen for their raw talent, the resonance of their ideas and the emotional response their work generates. The gallery’s ethos is that a worthwhile piece of art is much more than just a wise investment; it is a lasting testament, not just to the artist but the person buying it.
Halcyon Gallery has represented Simon Gudgeon since 2006.
