Sculpture by the Lakes opens to the public

Friday 10 June 2011

On 4th June ‘Sculpture by the Lakes’ opened to the public. This unique sculpture park has been created by Simon Gudgeon with the support of Halcyon Gallery.

Thirty of Gudgeon’s sculptures are placed around the park, which has been thoughtfully curated by the artist. All of the work exhibited in the park is inspired by nature and the artist’s fascination with symbolism, myth and legend relating to the spirit of birds, animals and man.

‘Sculpture by the Lakes’ will be open from 4th – 19th June, 11.am – 6.00pm daily.

After 19th June 2011, entry will be by appointment only.

‘Sculpture by the Lakes’ is located at Pallington Lakes, Pallington, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 8QU.
