In Dorset, Simon Gudgeon has created 'Sculpture by the Lakes', displaying his Brancusi-inspired bird and animal forms in a 26-acre park around Pallington Lakes in the Frome Valley (until June 19, then by appointment; www.sculpturebythelakes.co.uk).
